The sunny village of Pfalzen (1022m)
with its parishes Issing and Greinwalden as well as the hamlets
Platten (1586 m) and Kofl (1487 m) was already famous for its
sunny location back in Caesar's times.
Pfalzen's plateau offers more than 300 sun drenched days per
year to its inhabitants and vacation guests - it is located
at the famous Pustertaler Sonnenstrasse (sun road) amidst the
Dolomites (UNESCO
World Natural Heritage). The city of Bruneck is only 5 kms
away. The Kronplatz is located in 10 km distance. It is the
location of the renown skiing and hiking area in the Puster
Valley. |

In spring, when the alpine flora
is in bloom, in summer and fall when nature is ablaze with color,
the surrounding beckons to be explored with hikes and mountain
tours through the beautiful Puster Valley. You will
hike past old farms and unique pastures all the way up to the
mountain peaks, to comfortable refuge huts, next to babbling
brooks and quiet lakes. Here you will find select hiking

The small community of Issing with the Issinger
swimming pond is located right next to Pfalzen.
The Issinger swimming pond is a natural treasure with its abundant
flora and fauna - swimmers will enjoy this intense experience
to the fullest. You will find a brand-new restaurant, as well
as a sunbathing area with sun loungers and a children's play
ground right next to the unadulterated pond. |

Right next to the Issinger pond,
you will find South Tyrol's largest adventure park and climbing
and high wire garden: KRONACTION. The climbing and
high wire garden offers lots of fun, thrills and exceptional
experiences to adults and children alike. Special attention
was paid to safety and state-of-the-art technical equipment.

For children between the ages of 4 and 10, the "Grasspeinten"
riding stables offer a change of pace. During the summer
month, the riding stables offer a fun-packed children's program.
Apart from the numerous museums, churches, summer festivals
and concerts, there are many more interesting summer
activities to be discovered in and around Pfalzen. Nordic walking,
paragliding or mountain biking to name just a few of these.

Powder snow and fun on the slopes
– even during winter there are many sunny days in Pfalzen!
Guesthouse Erika's central location (only a 5 minute walk to
the center of the village) and direct connection to the free
ski shuttle (distance 250 m) to the Kronplatz ski area
make our house the perfect starting point for your winter vacation.
Snowboarders and skiers of all ages enjoy over 100 kms of well
prepared slopes at the ski circuit Kronplatz, South Tyrol's
Number 1 skiing area. The Kronplatz ski area is state-of-the-art
in the alpine region and can be snowed in, if necessary. The
free ski shuttle runs every day; you will find its daily
schedule here.
Next to skiing and snowboarding, you will find an abundance
of sport, fun, leisure time, and entertainment options in Pfalzen.
Floodlit toboggan run, well-cared for cross country slopes,
winter hiking trails, ice skating rink and curling. For our
little guests, there is a skiing hill with magic carpet; they
can also have lots of fun innertubing downhill.

| Short and cold winter days make
you want to spend some time relaxing and enjoying what indoor
pool, sauna or steam bath have to offer. After an exiting
day of skiing, you will find peace and quiet in the indoor
pool world of the Cron4, located in Reischach, only 2 minutes
by car from the Kronplatz skiing area. |
